October 24, 7 – 9 PM at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. FREE EVENT!

Discover the Super 8 short films by B. Wurtz from 1979 and 1980, which capture the artist’s way of seeing art in the most mundane objects and situations. From interactions with his cat to observations about a pen, Wurtz’s simple premises provide anchors for subtle reflections on life.

Special guest Echo Park Film Center will assist in the projection of the original Super 8 format of Wurtz’s films. The screening will be followed by a lively information and demonstration session on the world of retro filmmaking in Super 8 by EPFC Coop Members Paolo Davanzo, Dicky Bahto and Lisa Marr.
