Director AG Rojas traveled to 15 states in 20 days to make the 2013 music video for “Modern Jesus” by Portugal. The Man. With a team that included cinematographer Michael Ragen and producers Anna Rau and Corbett Jones, AG used a documentary style approach to find incredible people and locations to highlight in this video, while subtly weaving in performance elements to help connect everything to the song. The end result is a rich portrait of America, beautiful but flawed, edited in a way that is thought provoking without being exploitative. https://vimeo.com/67421916
