Echo Park Film Center graduate James Noel presents the premiere of his third feature, the surreal, experimental science fiction epic VREM, starring Janet Housden (DESPERATE TEENAGE LOVEDOLLS), Teddy Quinn (THE GHOST AND MR. CHICKEN), and legendary autobiographical cartoonist Carrie McNinch. James wrote, directed, photographed, and edited the film, as well as composing the original score; Kurt Comstock created several 16mm sequences; Marc Myers and Buzzsaw provided additional music. James Noel’s previous feature, OMADOX, received seven awards at the 2014 Zed Film Festival in Burbank, including Outstanding Arthouse Film and the Kafka Award.
