VIDEO ART WORKSHOP

Workshop participants will collaborate with each other to create video art using analog video mixers, processors, title makers & cameras. As a group we will review examples of video art from various artists and then go on to explore techniques and use of technology to create our own pieces. If participants choose to do so, they may do their own field recording with a VHS camera during the workshop. We will explore the use and manipulation of found footage, video feedback, colorization, analog video drawing and titlemaking. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own footage or any found footage as well as pieces of analog video editing equipment you would like to use & explore.
