When an inner-city high school is in danger of being closed, the sisters of Saint Francis Academy hit the road to get Sister Mary Clarence back in the habit and spirit back in the choir.  The 1992 original was such a wild success, its sequel came out immediately one year after, and is arguably even more a cult classic than its predecessor. The 90s slice of pop culture features Lauryn Hill, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Maggie Smith, and Kathy Najimy. Join us for this joyful, joyful classic! Programmed by Navid Sinaki and Brenda Contreras, the VHS VIDEO SOCIAL series takes pleasure in the analogue buzz of VHS tapes while exploring cult pop culture.
