3 Consecutive Sundays February 11th, 18th, & 25th: 1 – 4 PM
Come and play at the animation playground! This is a three part workshop with each course exploring a different hands on direct animation technique. Each course will include a little bit of history on the technique, screenings of artists working in the technique, demos and time to play with the materials. The workshop also covers learning basic concepts and principles of animation for those who are new to to the glory of making things move.
Workshop #1: Messing with Our Brains: Optical Toys and the Stampede for the Moving Image
Workshop #2: Scratch, Bleach, Draw, Ink, Glue, etc, etc : Fun with Animation on Film
Workshop #3: Lights, Camera, Action, Anarchy! : Re-inventing and Combining Techniques to Break the Wheel

Cancellation less than 7 days prior to class: class credit for a future session or workshop(s) of equal value.
