KNO UR SELF – EPFC FALL 2015 YOUTH CLASS
12 FRIDAYS 4:30 – 6:30 PM, BEGINNING SEPT. 11

This 12 week class will explore topics about the self and what it means to express, and identify one’s self in the digital age. Students will view and discuss works of self portraiture, or works of art that pertain the the many facets of “the self”. Each week, students are invited to explore concepts of the “self” by participating in class activities like : collage making, creative writing, video mixing, and filmmaking of course!! Ultimately, each student will create their own piece related to the topic of the self and how it is explored throughout the class.
The class will meet 2 hours a week on Fridays from 4:30-6:30 PM beginning September 11. The class is free and open to youth ages 12-19. All supplies provided by EPFC.
A mandatory orientation session for all interested students and their parent/guardian will take place at Echo Park Film Center on Wednesday, September 9th at 7:30 pm.
