Friday, June 3: EPFC Film Workshop & Bands at Whammy Analog – 2514 Sunset Blvd. 90026 (Entrance in rear off Rampart.)
5 – 7:30 PM: FREE direct animation workshop
7:30 – 10 pm: 16 mm projections
8 PM: MUSIC! $10
A Night with Echo Park Film Center and live bands!
From 5 – 9 PM EPFC will share the wonders and magic of analog filmmaking with the public. Come play with 16mm film to create your very own loops of direct animation, found footage collage and other elements of wonder!!! Sit for 5 minutes of 5 hours and create your very own 16mm film loop that you can take home with you. EPFC is volunteering their time and energy for this event. No experience necessary, just an open heart and open mind.
From 5 to 7:30 the event is FREE for all. After that WHAMMY! asks that a $10 donation towards the bands and venue.
Bands include Slice, Less Than Zero and Nights Templar
