Emett Casey’s recent feature, “Mirror & Missal” is a humorous arthouse satire that winks and nods its way through cinephilia. Beginning with the full moon stolen from the sky, the film follows the power hungry Francesca as she sets out choreographing a dance to transfer the moon’s essence to herself. But when a new kid, Abe, wanders into the bohemian town of Echo Park, plans go astray.
