It’s back! It’s Alive! is our popular, hands-on workshop class all about DIY animation, frame-by-frame filmmaking, and unusual soundtrack-building techniques. Working both collaboratively and independently, students will learn basic 16mm animation and no-budget special effects, work with found footage and found sound, use homemade microphones and sound-makers, and even draw soundtracks directly onto their films. This class is open to students of all skill levels! Seasoned filmmakers looking to expand their practice will enjoy this class just as much as artists who’ve never used a camera before. Enrollment limited to 8 participants.

Tuition: $150 / $120 EPFC Members.
