INTRO TO HANDMADE DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKING ON SUPER 8!
7 Sessions – Mondays and Wednesdays 7 – 10 pm beginning February 4
(February 4, 6, 11, 13, 20, 25, 27)
In this 7-session class, students will learn the fundamentals of Super 8 documentary filmmaking including storytelling, interview technique, Super 8 camera operation and film processing, sound recording, analog editing, and exhibition. Each student will complete and exhibit a 5-minute black and white Super 8 film on family and/or community history. No previous filmmaking experience necessary. All equipment and materials provided by EPFC. Class size limited to 7 participants.
