Intro to Documentary Filmmaking: Physical Distancing Edition!
September 13 – October 25, 2020: Seven 90-minute Zoom Sessions on consecutive Sunday mornings, 10 AM – 11:30 AM (Los Angeles Time)
In this fun and supportive 7-session online workshop, participants will create short digital documentary films that explore and celebrate notions of family and community past present and future. Participants will discuss, learn, practice and share documentary history, storytelling techniques, project planning strategies, cinematography, sound recording, titles, editing and exhibition. The workshop will culminate with an online world premiere of works created. Participants provide their own camera and device for editing/ connecting via Zoom. Workshop limited to 8 participants….International participants welcome! Instructors: Lisa Marr and Paolo Davanzo. Tuition $150/$125 EPFC Members.
