INTRO TO 16mm FILMMAKING
SATURDAY JANUARY 23, 1-5PM
An introduction to 16mm film mechanics using Bolex reflex and Canon Scoopic cameras. In this one-day workshop, students will learn basic camera operation, and lighting. Visiting filmmaker Fern Silva will be instructing this workshop. His films consider methods of narrative, ethnographic, and documentary filmmaking as the starting point for structural experimentation. No previous filmmaking experience necessary. All equipment and materials provided by EPFC. Class limited to 9 students.
