The Rural Route 2014/15 Tour Program presents the best short experimental, documentary, narrative and animated films of the festival. Selections include Symphony No. 42 (Réka Bucsi, 10 min, animation, 2013 Hungary), The Sea [Is Still] Around Us (Hope Tucker, 4 min, Experimental, 2012, Corinna, Maine) and  Ngaben: Emotion & Restraint In A Balinese Heart (Robert Lemelson, 16min., documentary, 2012, Klung Kung, Bali, Indonesia),  a poetic and impressionistic look at “Ngaben,” the famed, elaborate Balinese funerary ritual from the perspective of a mourning son.
