For any outsider, Madrid is mostly known for its party culture and historic architecture; however, unbeknownst to visitors, it is a city surrounded by dense forests with strong trees and green shrubs, shamelessly held back by hideous housing blocks- flagship emblem of a rotting corrupt economy.

In an effort to fight the superficiality of the rapidly-creeping digital lifestyle, native Madridian film makers Miguel Llansó and Eric Uguet bring this magical landscape back to life, each focusing on their own personal perceptions but with a common thread: through their forests flow hallucinogenic paths and dreamy situations that lead to intense vital experiences.

Conceived as a stimulating creative competition, this curated selection of short films invite us to immerse in the profound nature of the woods: A viewing experience full of vibrant colors, strange sounds, eerie shadows and a twisted sense of humor. Something like a journey into the darkness of the night with a mischievous spirit guide.
