Trixy Sweetvittles makes films, performs, sculpts, and teaches in Los Angeles, California. She is currently an Associate Professor of Practice at the University of Southern California’s John C. Hench Division of Animation and Digital Arts, and has taught animation classes and workshops for many other institutions including CalState Northridge, Parsons School of Design, Austin Filmmaker’s Cooperative, Inner-City Arts and College of the Canyons. Trixy’s work has screened internationally, and now it comes to the Echo Park Film Center! Tonight, Ms. Sweetvittles screens a selection of her beautiful animated films and shares candid stories about her experimental filmmaking and art practice. FILMMAKER IN ATTENDANCE!
