This biographic film traces the evolution in thought and practice of Grace Lee Boggs, a Chinese-American who was a pioneering figure in the US civil rights movement of the 1950s and 60s and beyond. With CLR James and Carl Boggs, Grace Lee Boggs developed groundbreaking analyses of political and economic systems and the importance of race in social struggle. Now in her late 90s, Grace is in hospice care and having dedicated her life to social justice activism she is greatly in need of financial assistance to meet her end of life expenses.
