Attention, West Coast Canadian Friends! Underway now is The Sound We See: A Vancouver City Symphony, facilitated by Echo Park Film Center, Gathering Place and Cineworks.

In this screening and talk taking place January 21 at Cineworks, EPFC’s Lisa Marr and Paolo Davanzo will situate the project as part of their international work as socially engaged filmmakers, in which The Sound We See has become a productive tool for crossing borders, challenging social boundaries and facilitating creative inquiry through analogue filmmaking.

EPFC is in Rotterdam this week for a workshop and a screening in conjunction with our friends at Filmwerkplaats… On Saturday afternoon June 27, learn all about how to do your own “guerrilla” screenings and on Sunday June 28 celebrate city symphonies with a reunion of the The Sound We See: Rotterdam filmmakers and a screening of the newest films in the series too!
